Yeah.

I've downloaded the pilot but haven't watched it yet. Are there actors from the Sci-Fi channel rotating cast? Ben Browder? Don S. Davis?

I didn't see Ben Browder or Don S Davis but there definitely were other sci-fi regulars. The guy who plays Braytac on SG1 - and I know I've seen Sarah's husband in other sci-fi shows (though he's not the person I thought he was)

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles
I kind of liked it. With all the half-naked women and boob jokes in the pilot, I was kind of afraid this was just another batch of prurient drivel starring hopelessly beautiful, semi-naked people. Like what Smallville has been lately.
But there was more than enough blood, guts, and time-traveling-robot violence to satisfy those of us with more "mature" tastes.
I just hope they don't toss her out any more windows. Slapstick has no place here.
And if they have J.C. make it with a robot, my head asplode.

Been thinking the same thing myself.
I'm wondering where they are going with this "new model." She seems to be programmed in a way to be more human. Perhaps it's kind of a Data "emotion chip" dowhacky.

I also wonder if they're going to try that. Maybe her primary mission is to collect a "sample" so a clone can be made.

Well, you can't make a clone from semen though. They could just take some blood and they'd have a good dna sample for a clone.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted.
Well, in any case, they sure were quick to trust that robot. She's going to have some sort of ulterior motive I'm sure...

I wouldn't be shocked if she were 'fully functional'. The reactions of people to the nekkid Arhnuld seems to imply that he is not built like a ken doll down there.

In that case I'd hit it.

Why would a scientist build a robot that looks like a sexy female, and NOT make her functional?
The first use of humanoid robots is going to be some human-robot loving.

Don't terminators weigh hundreds of pounds? I wouldn't want her riding me. She'd crush my pelvis into little pieces!

Apparently not. Notice how easily they threw her out of the window.

Replace the human skeleton with a light-weight frame, without a need for organs, and I'm not sure one would need to weigh more than a human.

Bought the pilot and the first episode from iTunes. I really have no basis for comparison as I've been outta the TV loop for years, but I liked 'em.

The pilot was a free download on iTunes recently.
And both episodes are free on Fox's website, in HD quality.
Do you really need them on your iPod that badly?
