Boo... I want a 32GB for no more than $399.

Guess I'm waiting a while longer.

That's probably why I'm pointing it out too. I've been eyeing a touch and was willing to pay $399 but if I was going to lay out that kind of cash I definitely wanted more storage.

I have no problem swapping out music and movies at different times but I want to be able to carry a majority, if not all, of my photos on the device while still having room for a significant amount of music and a few movies.

10.8 GB of photos
1-2 GB per movie so we'll say I'd like 5 GB of space for 3 movies
I have just under 23 GB of music from which I'd like to carry between 5 and 10 GB with me.

So it looks like the 32 GB would be enough space to do what I want but it's about $100 more than I'd like to spend. I guess I have a mental block when the price gets to half a grand wink

If I really got what I wanted I would love to see 32 GB for $299 but I think it's going to be a while before that happens. In fact, I'll probably purchase an iPhone before that happens and it will make this point moot!

I'm just glad they didnt' update the nano. I wouldn't want to have to upgrade again...

It is an odd thing, but every one who disappears is said to be seen at San Francisco. It must be a delightful city, and possess all the attractions of the next world.

Yeah, if it weren't for the fact that I'm now leaning toward a touch or an iPhone I would have upgraded my nano in a minute. I still have a gen 1 nano and even if I bought a touch or an iPhone I would have to keep it for use with the Nike accessory.

Re: Apple upgrades iPhone and iPod Touch

I'd really rather get an iPhone if it had 32GB, but I can't currently justify any of the plans available. I call people maybe once twice a week and spend maybe 10 minutes all together, if I'm lucky and Becky picks up I can go to 45 minutes, but mainly I am sending many many text messages, though none as much as I used to.

So even at $50 a month is too much.

But I could be pursuaded into an iTouch if the 32GB cost at most $400. But I'd be wishing for $300. I really want to only have to carry one device.
