WPA Option?

I'm trying to set up a WPA connection using my airport extreme card but in the drop down list I don't see an option for WPA only WEP and LEAP.  The router I am trying to connect to is a Linksys WRT54G.

What am I missing to be able to select WPA?

Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?

Re: WPA Option?

Ok, I got it working ... when I have SSID broadcast turned off the Mac will not make the connection, when I have it turned on I can make the connection and save the password in my key chain.  I can then turn off the SSID broadcast again and everything looks good.

Any ideas why with SSID broadcast turned off I couldn't get it to work?

Re: WPA Option?

the SSID is Koda. No special characters, that I could see causing a problem
