Final Cut Pro help
HELP!!!!!!!
I was directed by the Apple Tech people to reload my operating system because my computer would not recognize Cd's or DVD's. I saved everything to my external harddrive 2 different ways. I reloaded my FCP program and transferrred everything back over to my HD and I have NOTHING in FCP???? I have capture scratch in several places, but I do not know how to get everything restored.
Not one sequence is in FCP...Nothing!
Listen guys, this is my first computer.....so when you email me back.......talk to me as if I was an idiot and a 2 year old that you were teaching. I talked with the FCP techies at Apple and they were NO help and Obnoxious. Assume I know NOTHING!
I have 2 years of work and editing that I need to retrieve. I really need help.
Thanks! If there is anyone in Manhatten that is available to look at my computer to help, give me a heads up. I was ready to go to agents with my edited demo work.
Thanks,
MJ

Re: Final Cut Pro help
If you didn't copy the location of where your original sequences and projects were stored before the re-load I am afraid you are probably SOL unless you send your Hard drive away to try and extract the info.
As far as the Capture Scratch folders all you need to do is import the video files inside each folder.
