Downgrade User from Admin 2 Normal
Lep upgrade plan: Now that I have a bootable backup of my HD, I'm thinking of doing a fresh install of Leopard (not archive and install), and briefly setup an admin acct. Next I would use Migration Assistant to import my old apps and user acct. from the backup.
Once that's accomplished, I would like to leave the admin alone and downgrade my imported user acct. from admin to normal. I'd like to have my everyday acct. NOT be an admin for change and for a slight extra bit of security.
Questions is, will my imported apps all work OK since all my imported Application Support crud will now be under a Normal, not admin, acct?

Re: Downgrade User from Admin 2 Normal
Everything seems to have gone OK although, having a dual HD Mac I found I didn't have permission to write to the second HD after Migrating my old admin user acct., and have had to set permissions accordingly (I hope I've done so correctly).
