Touch WiFi Problem

I have a wireless router in the house using WPA protection with a password. My touch can connect to it but always changes to my next door neighbhors unprotected connection. I have asked him to password protect but I guess he doesn't know how as he hasn't yet......and probably won't.

So it appears the Touch takes the easy way out and connects automatically to the unprotected WiFi.

Tried several different settings but it doesn't change anything.

Using 1.1.4 firmaware - the latest.

Anyone see the same things or know of a fix ?

Re: Touch WiFi Problem

I don't have an iPhone or iPod touch so I cannot check this myself, but this link suggests to:

Settings > WiFi > Click the Blue Arrow at the far right of the network you wish to ignore > select Forget This Network.
