Old Starcraft on new MacBook Pro?
I've used the OS X installer to get the files on to my new Mac, but the only thing that happens so far is the game goes to the startup options then quits when I tell it OK. This is on a new MacBook Pro running Leopard 10.5.2. I have:
1) installed and re-installed the program.
2) repaired permissions using Disk Utility assuggested at the Blizzard site.
3) deleted the pref files as suggested at the Blizzard site.
4) copied the folder contents from a known working version from my old PB using 10.3.9.
5) reset the video into 800x600 mode and tried starting from there.
6) deleted the installation and installed a fresh version (thinking that maybe it has to run once before running the updates to make it current).
7) copied the prefs from that previously working version.
Has anyone gotten Starcraft to work on 10.5.2 with a MacBook Pro? Any suggestions?

Got it to work on my mini, but the custom starcraft cursor has has the default mac pointer visible on top of the custom, which I find to be extremely annoying.

Other people are having the same problem with the Penryn-based MacBook Pros with Starcraft and Diablo. Blizzard is aware of the problem but as I am typing this there is no solution.

Press command-M to exit full screen mode, move the cursor outside the window, move it back in the window, then press command-M to re-enter full screen mode.
