USB D-link adaptor for internet connection
I've got this old G3 iBook where the ethernet port is kaput.
I've heard of a USB D-link adaptor which allows internet connections.

Re: USB D-link adaptor for internet connection
A problem you may have with DLink USB adapters is that most (all?) do not have Mac drivers. You might note that DLink does have a separate Mac section which does not have any USB wireless adapters.
Instead you should stick to retailers who specialize in Mac-compatible products like Other World Computing. They offer a set of USB WiFi adapters here (scroll down to "USB / USB 2.0 Wireless Network Adapters" section). Do note that your G3 iBook only has slower 12 Mb USB ports so you should get an adapter which can work with USB 1.1 rather than any which only work with USB 2.0.
OWC also has the original AirPort cards for iBooks offered in the next section below the USB adapters. It might be a consideration if your iBook is one which has a FireWire port (not that the AirPort card uses that, but that the presence of FireWire means that your iBook has an internal AirPort slot).
