Powerbook battery issues
Anyone know the standard steps to go through when dealing with a battery issue?
I started noticing a few days about that my battery would cut out around 30-40%. I checked it's health today, and found this:
Cycles: 0
Health: 0%
Well that can't be good. This is the replacement battery that I received through a recall.
This is a 1.33 GHz PowerPC g4 powerbook, 12-in.

Re: Powerbook battery issues
I'd say:
call Apple at 800-275-2273 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., central time, seven days a week
(from this page).
Make sure that you have the paperwork from your previous exchange handy so you can give them enough details to show that the battery you got in exchange from Apple has had problems.
If that doesn't work, e-mail sjobs@apple.com with the details and you may get an Apple VP handling your situation.

If you end up buying a new battery I suggest the one's from NuPower - these are the best in my experience.

Hmmm, I'll try this again. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've replaced the old battery with a new one I had lying around, same issue (the battery works fine and charges, but the cycle and health count remain at 0).
