Advice on G4 fan replacement
Hey All-
Looking to keep my g4 933 mhz running alittle longer until I can afford a G5. I need to replace my fan. I cant find out what the model # is or where to find a new part. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Advice on G4 fan replacement
which fan? there are quite a few in the g4 towers.
http://www.welovemacs.com/apg493qinpa.html has a list of fans and prices for your g4. those prices look pretty inflated to me though. if you post saying which one you need a replacement for i might be able to help you find a cheaper one.

Re: Advice on G4 fan replacement
They are pretty expensive indeed, the best is probably to get the right dimention for the fan (there are standards) and get on at a pc-part store. It might be quieter aswell if you get a good brand. My old G4/450 got a new papst fan, and was less noisy afterwards.
