Got a new MacBook Pro

Wow!  Such a huge improvement over my 1st gen MacBook!  I'm loving it!

Re: Got a new MacBook Pro

I am still waiting for the one out this summer. If they didn't cobble together the new CPU with the old innards and tack on multitouch, but instead did it right with a faster FSB and some design cues from the Air, I would have bought one too. For instance, if you've used the Air's trackpad, the MacBook Pro's trackpad is obviously clunky and outdated. On a positive note, congratulations! Your machine will be at your side for many happy productive years.

Re: Got a new MacBook Pro

I liked the Air, but its just not practical at all for me.  Small hard drive, no optical drive, etc.  I was hoping to replace my MacPro and MacBook.  This did it for sure.

Re: Got a new MacBook Pro

I bought a MBP 15" matte finish, 7 weeks ago, the day after the latest refresh. It is absolutely great!

How's it going?  Still liking it?  I have a 1st gen Macbook too and when the next MBP comes out I'm buying it.

Will I really see a difference?

Re: Got a new MacBook Pro

the difference is huge! Even while running vmware everything is snappy and there is no lag.
