NAS Review in May MacLife

Nice short reviews of some Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices in the May issue of MacLife.  However, I'm wondering why the Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ was reviewed instead of the Duo which is aimed more to "home" networks.  Wasn't the Duo available for review (too new)?  The ReadyNAS Duo is less than $400 w/o disks (street price) with most of the capabilities of the more expensive NV+.

Also missing was examples from Buffalo Tech and Western Digital My Book NAS.  Not that they're any better than the group MacLife reviewed.

Another review item I'd like to see in the MacLife reviews is a link to the review item forums, even if the forums are company sponsored.  Netgear's ReadyNAS.com is a good source of what is working and problems with various clients.  Synology also has a good forum with the same info.

Do I have a ReadyNAS or Synology?  Not yet.  But, I've narrowed my choice down to either the Duo or Synology DS 207+.  I'm still trying to weed out any drawbacks in either offering's iTunes server capability as this is driving requirement for my purchase.

I would be interested in this forum's members' experience with either of these NAS devices and iTune servers.
