Re: Stupidest Movie Ever

I wasn't "confused" by it, I found it far-fetched and overly complicated.

Re: Stupidest Movie Ever

When a film manages to suspend an audience's disbelief, it's at least met a minimum standard.

when surrounded and left on Afghanistan's plains,
and the women come out to cut up what remains,
just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
and go to your god like a soldier...

I suppose it was a little far fetched, but I like movies that make me think and challenge my belief system. I thought Gone Baby Gone did that far better than most other films that try to make a point.

I don't like being preached at by movies, but I do like to question what I believe. I thought the film did a great job at walking that line.

Re: Stupidest Movie Ever

It just seemed like the characters had so many other reasonable options they could have utilized to reach their individual goals that I found the the course of action they eventually settled on to be a bit too incredible.
