AirPort Express + USB Network Adapter
I recently purchased an AirPort Express. My MacPro does not have an AirPort card installed in it. This is the only computer in the house and is hard-wired to my internet router. I bought the AirPort Express to connect to my stereo in the other room & play iTunes. I bought an AddLogix Wireless-G USB Network Adapter. (Cheaper than an AirPort card & I don't have to give up my machine to have it installed.) Through the utility that comes with the AddLogix adapter, it seems to be working, yet when I use the AirPort Utility, no network can be found. While I am comfortable working with my Mac, wireless is quite Greek to me. The AirPort literature says "use with AirPort card". Is this the reason nothing is working? Is it possible to use a 3rd party wireless adapter with the Express? Am I SOL? Any help & feedback is appreciated.
