modem to dial out on remote location.
I have a piece of hardware that has a modem to dial out for information (DBS satellite) that I wish to use on the road. Mind you I can get a picture after setting up the dish but I would like to get the phone jack working also. I am looking at one of the cellular companies wireless internet cards that work off cell towers. and using a powerbook. (it's what the funds allow). I am hoping for a skype type of solution that I could plug the phone line directly into the modem port and get results. There are holes in this and I am asking for help.
the other option is to use my vonage hardware and reactivate my account and use internet sharing option for ethernet.
any other ideas?
thanks
