SATA in a Powermac G4

what's the best way to put a 500gb serial ATA drive in a powermac G4? (mirror doors, 1.2ghz cpu)

I was in a hurry at the parts store, bought a samsung HD in a generic white box and didnt notice til I got home that it's a SATA. Before I bring it back for an exchange I thought I'd take a stab at other options. But as far as I know, my G4 is built to handle only parallel ATA.

I imagine in order to install in in my G4 I would need a special PCI card, right?

You would need a Internal Serial ATA PCI Card to slap in your powermac. Sonnet makes a good one called Tempo but they typically cost around 75 bucks.
