Why blank icons? Why?
So I was wondering why files on my computer with the extension .aif and .aiff have no quicktime icon? there is just the blank "document" icon instead.

Re: Why blank icons? Why?
It's quicktime.
I believe this started happening after i deleted an operating system on another hard drive on the computer.
So i decided to switch the default to iTunes, apply to all, restart, switch back to quick time, apply to all, restart, and the icons are still blank.

Re: Why blank icons? Why?
I reinstalled quicktime and have also repaired permissions a good dozen times here and there.

You may want to rebuild the LaunchServices database. Keep in mind that this will probably delete any custom file associations you've set up.
