Re: Chance MI may count, Hillary STILL not happy

Are none of the democratic primaries winner take all? I thought I heard some of the smaller states were. I'll have to dig around.

@ Hank.

Pelosi? Rice? Not viable. Maybe they want to run, but they sure ain't viable.

Not currently viable.  But, they haven't been working up towards it either.

Four years ago, did you think that Obama was viable?

Re: Chance MI may count, Hillary STILL not happy

In late 2004 and early 2005, people were talking about Barack Obama as a potential candidate for 2008. People were talking in 2001 about Hillary Clinton as potential candidate in 2004 or 2008, before she'd ever held elected office. You can search these forums for their names to verify that.

I don't imagine that Nancy Pelosi would be a viable candidate. Condoleeza Rice would be a horrible choice, but she's someone the Republican Party might choose. I don't think she'd win.

Of course it's possible that a woman could take a prominent political position and become President within the next ten years.

Four years ago when he gave that kick ass speech at the DNC is exactly when he suddenly became viable.

So, they have a head start.
