MacBook Pros

What's up? This is my first forum on this site hah. Anyway, I was thinking about buying a new 15 inch MacPro when I move out of my parents house to go to live in a dorm in a few months.

My question is...

How often does Apple revamp their notebooks? I don't want to be a sucker and buy one now and then right before I move out they upgrade their processers to like say a Intel Core Extreme with 2.8 ghz. Is it like every 6 months they upgrade or something? I know they just made some improvements a few months back but I'm wondering if I why wait like 3 or 4 more months they may be better... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Just because something is legal, doesn't mean it's right.  Just because something is illegal, doesn't mean it's wrong.

Re: MacBook Pros

If you don't NEED it right now you are always better to wait as long as you can. Say, a month before you start classes?

Good advice. I think you would be pretty safe getting now, however.
Apple just recently updated them, and the average update cycle is every 6 or so months.
