Best case for new nano?
Any suggestions?

I like the Switcheasy Biscuit. $20, great protection, and it looks and feels great. The only problem is some stuff wont fit in the headphone jack when it's on, but they give you this little adapter cable with it that solves the problem. Not a big deal at all really.
I've dropped my iPod many times while in this case and it's offered great protection.

This sounds good, though I was looking for some sort of clip for the times I'm wearing shorts without pockets or working out.
Would this shield be compatible with a clip (were I to find such a thing)?

Invisible shield is just a thin film of sticky plastic. Although it prevents scratches, it does not protect you iPod from drops.
I recommend the XtremeMac Tuffwrap. It is made of rubber and comes with a screen protector. Although it adds some bulk, it protects the iPod well and looks pretty good too.

Not needed. I've dropped my iPods and iPhone dozens of times with no problems. I just don't see the point of those big bulky cases that claim to protect your gadget when all they really do is add szie, weight, and plain ol' ugliness.
