Side project: Painting my wife's laptop PINK!

As a surprise, I want to paint my wife's laptop pink.

I'm no good with rattle-cans -- what's a better alternative? All the online how-tos show these guy with mad Krylon skillz. It's a black body, so I know I've got my work cut out for me...

If I went to somebody like -- an auto paint house, what kind of paint would I need to give them to spray it?

Re: Side project: Painting my wife's laptop PINK!

There are people who color laptop cases professionally like Gen-X-PC and Colorware PC. Personally I cannot vouch for either--I have not used their services--but if you are thinking of going to someone else to help you work on the case, why not go with someone who specializes in laptops?

Her Toshiba is plastic. Wish it were metal, then it'd be a no-brainer...

It's a 215e model, black and silver....

Powder coat it.
