Login to your router and set a password that only you would know? Your router should have come with documentation letting you know how to login and do this. Unfortunately i have a netgear which has a different IP address im pretty sure.

Re: PLEASE HELP!!! (wireless security)
Set up the router to allow your Mac's MAC address only. This will block all other machines (MAC addresses) from connecting.
This is different from passwords, encryption (WEP, WPA) or hiding the name of your network (SSID).

Re: PLEASE HELP!!! (wireless security)
I would suggest a combination of things. Hide your SSID, so your router is not "visible". Also, use WPA2 if that is an option with your router. MAC address filtering is great, but not all routers support it. On top of that, it is a pain if you have company that you want to be able to access the internet. The first two suggestions should be sufficient. It should be noted, WPA2 and a hidden SSID are not going to make it impossible to gain access. But at that point, if they get past those security measures, MAC address filtering will not stop them.
