Splitting up Large .Mov File
I have a 4GB 30min long .mov file that i would like to split into 4 or 5 different files. is there another way to do this other then importing it into imovie cutting them up and exporting each one individually?
I don't have quicktime pro, but would that be able to do it? Or is there a free alternative?
thanks

SimpleMovieX (Shareware, $35, functional demo) is faster for splicing and clipping as it doesn't change the original format. I don't know how well it handles huge files though. You should convert that sucker to H.264.
