hi, I have a few mac questions, just got mine last night

hi
well I just got my Imac last night, Its a 24" smile I have a few questions.

1. I received a Ipod touch with the student program. This is my third Ipod. I have a second gen nano on my sony pc. I was not wanting to put my music on the mac. Can i have the touch and the nano use the same library ( both would be on my pc).
2. Should I use the touch with the mac. Can I still sync my email with the touch to the PC?
3. I listen to an internet radio. when I minimize safari to the dock, it will not play the songs continuously. I have to keep the window open for the songs to play continuously at the moment. On my PC I minimize it and it plays music for hours
4. This might be a stupid question but, i tried to log on to this forum on my pc, it wouldn't let me log in. It let me log in on the mac(obviously I'm typing on my mac right now)
thanks,
Alex

Welcome to the Forum.

1. Yes.
2. mmmm....  "sync".   I use POP email on both my iMac and my iPhone.  So, emails go to both.   For me, its not syncing.  Its duplication.
3. What station of internet radio ?
4. This could be a forum bug.

What you could do is:

Download Firefox and have Firefox be the Pandora player.  Then just "Hide" Firefox in its "Firefox" menu.   http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

So, there would be no need to minimize.

I will test Pandora tomorrow eventually with Firefox.  I confirmed the Safari bug.

I log in all the time on PCs, I doubt there is a forum bug.

Pandora will keep playing in both Firefox and Safari whether I minimize or hide the windwo. I have no idea how it could be different on your Mac!

Yeah, I'm logged on at work on a PC right now.big_smile

I've ALWAYS have had issues with playing talk shows, radio, etc., off of websites when minimized in the doc. It works for a minute or two and then stops. I just push the window to the very bottom of the screen to avoid this issue.
