Digital Audio Recorders and iPhone/iPod Touch student uses
Hello, I am going to college in the fall of 2009 and am wondering if a Digital Audio Recorder would be a worthwhile investment . I can't write/type very fast, so i think it may be . Has anyone had any experience ( specifically in classes) with these devices?? Are they easy to use? What sort of accessories do I need for them?
Also I have been using iProcrastinate for a little while but plan to use it more next year (in my last year of high school) . The developer is coming out with an iPhone version , will this work on an ipod Touch? I am more than likely going to have my laptop with me at all times at college so this may not be an issue. Is there any other cool "school" apps for mac os x that anyone knows of ?
Thank you for your help

I had a digital audio recorder for a while at home a few years ago and really liked it.

I'm still in the stone age and have a tape recorder, but it works the same way. I'd suggest to use it if you've got a class that tests more on notes than on the book, especially if the professor doesn't repeat the key points of the lecture. That way you can review it at home and pause it when you need to while you figure out what's important from the class.
If I were you I'd try to get together with a classmate who's a good note taker when you do this...that way you can pick and choose a little more plus you and your friend can ask questions of each other to better both of your understandings.
