Overclock that Mac Pro
Whereas there are a lot of tools available for overclocking in Windows, it is a fruitless task looking for similar applications for Mac OS X. This has all changed now. The ZDNet Clock tool for Mac Pro raises the frequency of the processor, FSB and memory.
Sounds good to me.

Re: Overclock that Mac Pro
well, I've been playing around with this thing for 30 minutes now, and I have a few observations. 1st, it seems safe, just for yucks I overclocked it to the max, and of course I got a KP. upon forced rebooting, it came back up at the standard speed, which was nice. and second, if you restart after overclocking, your Pro may try to restart but the Power light will just keep blinking and you'll have to do a forced shutdown, the way to get you Pro to restart normally is to do a shutdown rather than a restart after overclocking, then any subsequent restarts will behave normally. All I gotta do now is figure how to bench my Mac, it seems to be faster but of course that could be the placebo effect
PS=well, Xbench says no speed increase, does anybody know a reliable Benchmarking program fo a Mac Pro?
