Icon preview

I recently updated to Photoshop Elements 6.0. In v.4 when I saved a .jpg the icon displayed the preview immediately. Now my Mac has to be restarted for the icons to show the preview. I like to put my recently worked photos in a folder displaying the icons at their largest which makes it easy to pick and choose.

Any ideas on how to get back to the icon immediately showing the preview?

Re: Icon preview

Drat,I have done the dumb again. Sometimes seeing the trees for the forest is very difficult. As an educator I have come up with Apple beginning with the ][,][+ and on and on.

I should have known that when I installed V.6 and watched the lengthy interaction with the OS things might change. Yep, the show icon preview button was turned off.

I assumed (that word will get you into trouble) that since I had turned that on back in v.2 or 3 that it was still on.

Live and learn or least I hope so
