I have already started downloading Apps' and 2.0 isn't even out yet.
So far we have over 500 Apps available for download, ranging from Free to $69.99

Do the apps work without the software update for iPhone/Touch? I think I can wait till tomorrow to make sure things are done/installed properly.

No. He's acquired the 2.0 software before release.

Well, if Apple put the software up I'd say it's fair game even if they haven't posted the link

Re: App Store Open For Business!
OK OK. You gotta get Light Saber. That's worth the cost of an iPhone right there in that one app.

I want more iCal apps - wtf!
I was able download the iTunes software but I didn't bring my Touch home for my lunch break. I'm assuming that when I plug it in my Touch will be updated to the 2.0 software?

Not yet. It's not "officially" released. I'm pretty sure the advance link for the iPhone software won't work for the iPod Touch software since that's going to be a pay for upgrade.

Re: App Store Open For Business!
Yep. After playing with fancy apps all day yesterday and then sleeping on the idea, I most definitely do NOT need to go buy a new iPhone today. It's like I've got a brand new iPhone already!
