Lost 12 lbs since Jan

At the end of January, I had ballooned up to a portly (for me) 209 LBS. I decided that I should be less fat for my general health and longevity.

This morning I weighed myself and marked in at 197. I did not do any crash diets or drastic measures. I just scaled my eating back to an appropriate amount calorie wise, made attempts to avoid salty and greasy foods, and excercised a bit more. That extra exercise is a 1 mile run 3x as fast as I can.

I am happy so I thought I would share it with my internet family.





I would also say I look better but that is a bit like putting a gold electroplate on a gold medal. wink

The problem I have with discussing freedom is that people have been conditioned to expect "of me to tell you what to do" to follow it... inevitably they notice I don't ever get to that part, and they feel like I am trying to trick them.
Sometimes before replying to a topic, I think to myself: I am just so original!

I lost about 30 pounds in the last 3 weeks.  No exercising or special diets!

I lost about 15 pounds since January. I didn't want to and I need to get them back.

I now weigh 160. I lost it by reducing my caloric intake more than I reduced my exercising.

Umm... you cannot run any faster than you can run?

I gained about 15. Strange, 'cause I gained/lost nothing at all through boot camp. It's about time I gained a bit of weight.

gained a few while on vacation. Oh well.
