Re: iPhone 2.0 Firmware = Fail
My 'Camera Roll' photos were saved after all, cool.
Still having sync issues. Here's what is happening:
Plug in iPhone into my MacBook Pro. iTunes message: iTunes was interrupted while restoring the contents of the iPhone "Chad's iPhone". Would you like to restore this iPhone again now? I then click Continue Restore.
Message: An error occurred while restoring this iPhone (-1426). I then click OK.
Message: The iPhone "Chad's iPhone" cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found. I then click OK. It wipes all my data off the phone and brings up the same previous message.
I am now restoring the iPhone from within the iTunes application. It finishes and then gives me the same message that I saw the first time. I click Continue and Cancel a couple more times and iTunes takes me to the "Set up your iPhone" screen. Click "Restore from backup" then Continue. After a couple restore attempts and iPhone restarts I try going to a backup dated 3 days ago. Backup is now gone after I thought that I was deleting the most recent one. Now it looks like all of them are gone?
Back to square one setting my sync preferences for everything, installing all apps, and loading my data once again.
