idvd Issues!!!
I have become VERY frustrated with idvd. I need help, since I'm not exactly a computer whiz. I am trying to burn a movie that I downloaded (704 mb) - 110 minutes. I have gone into the project info menu and changed the encoding to "high quality" and have kept the video mode at NTSC. The DVD layer is at Double type, since that is the type of DVD i have right now. When I press burn, it will go through all the steps, but once it gets to "burn", it pops a message up saying an error has occured!! Anyone know why?? This is killin me!

Re: idvd Issues!!!
The downloaded movie could be corrupt.
But try having idvd make a disk image and see if that errors out.
I had half a carton of blank DVDs that idvd couldn't burn to.

Re: idvd Issues!!!
Are you sure you are using dual layer discs? Dual layer DVD burning is a pain in the ass even with DVD Studio Pro. You probably need to go in and tell it when the layer change is going to happen.

I don't use iDVD, preferring the way Toast (version 9 at present) does such
things.
