Silly Rabbit. Canadians don't have guns.
I dont say that there is no God. I'm not an atheist because I find atheism to be a mirror of the certainty of religion and I don't like certainty about the next world because we can't know. What I say, what I say is "I don't know."

lol. Please tell me you are joking. Alberta is like a blend of Texas and the deep South states. And I suspect there is as high a percentage of gun ownership amongst Albertans as there is in most US states. It is just harder to acquire guns... but not impossible (I really want a .45 USP for instance... and can get one when I have the spare cash).
From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law.

Last I checked Canada had about a 25% gun ownership rate.
Though of course I doubt that can compare with the US.

According to this, 26% of individuals in the U.S. own at least one firearm.

Their findings, however, that married men reported a rate of 49% household firearm ownership compared with 36% reported by married women suggested that women were either unaware of their spouse’s firearm ownership or were reluctant to report it.

See... I have NO idea where you live. And I deal on a semi-regular basis with Americans who have the most absurd ideas about what Canada is like.
For example, last week it hit 39 degrees celsius here... or 102 fahrenheit. And the shocked disbelief I got from some of my American friends was hilarious... especially the ones who were actually serious.

You mean 39F, don't you? If it hit 102F all your igloos would have melted. And then where would you live?

I think the difference is canadians see the gun as a tool of defense.
Americans see it as a general problem solving tool.

Can't help it if they are too short sighted and narrow minded to see the full potential of the tool.
