McCain said he's not interested in the housing issue
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/8/22 … 684/572922
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trai … ain_1.html
"Even if the economy is the, quote, number one issue, the real issue will remain America's security," [McCain] said. "If it's not the most important issue in the minds of many voters, America's security will remain the number one issue with me. And if they choose to say, 'Look, I do not need this guy because he's not as good on home loan mortgages,' or whatever it is, I understand that. I will accept that verdict. I am running because of the transcendent challenge of the twenty-first century, which is radical Islamic extremism, as you know."...
How clear does that get?
The only challenge John McCain cares about is the challenge of radical Islamic extremism. That is why he is running for President.
He doesn't care about your house. He doesn't care about your mortgage. He only cares about Islamic Extremism. That is his sole issue.
And if he doesn't even understand the fundamentals of his key issue, why is ANYONE surprised that he doesn't know anything about anything else?
McCain said that you shouldn't vote for him if you're concerned about his ability to understanding housing issues.

The floodgates are open. I don't think the McCain camp is going to be able to shut this meme down.
There's another story which is resurfacing; last year McCain was asked what kind of car he drove and he didn't know. Answer: Cadillac STS

The man has served his nation, but clearly he has no business being a president. It's a much bigger job than he is willing to accept. It doesn't matter, it's not possible for him to win the job.
It's not a movie.

All suffering is anecdotal, don't you know.

Maybe it'll finally overtake the "dumb & dumber" form of politics currently in play.

I wonder if McCain will apply his Savings & Loan Crisis expertise to the Subprime Mortgage Crisis.
He can even take his son with him into the shower, where the boy cannot help but notice that Dad has a penis

What, you're all astounded astonished and agog by this kind of thing?
The one thing he IS interested in is war.
Should be obvious by now. ("BOMBBOMBBOMBBOMBBOMBIRAN!")
I prefer O'Bama's LaBamba.
