Convention Question

What do you think Obama will open with tonight?

I think it'll be "Jumpin' Jack Flash", maybe "Brown Sugar" (as a nod to Michelle), but definitely a Stones song- he usually nails the Stones tunes.

I've heard he'll do "Ripple" and "Layla" (the electric version, not the wussy acoustic one. Word is Dick Durbin will be doing the Duane Alman slide part) sometime before intermission, but have gotten mixed messages as to whether he is closing with "Stairway" or "Let it Be", though "Freebird" would be totally killer.

Re: Convention Question

Open with "For those about to rock salute, we salute you"  AC / DC   ?

Close with "The Wrong Nigga To smurf Wit"  Ice Cube   (can you imagine, every Fox News pundit's head would explode ! )

Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.  Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet."  They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.

Wrong Nigga to smurf Wit by this Ice Cube?

I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

Yep, that's the one.  Don't hate on a guy just trying to get paid.

Well, with Hillary Clinton now out of the picture, he can always use Jay Z's 99 Problems.

He should do Age Of Aquarius

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revalation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

McCane will announce at noon Friday.

Is there something Obama can announce next week?
