Time Machine and iTunes
I was wondering if Time Machine backs up my iTunes library? Meaning, can I go into iTunes thru Time Machine and restore specific songs/videos? Or will it only restore iTunes from a particular point in time?
If so, do I need to back up my iTunes library folder? Please advise...I know this is probably a novice question...

Re: Time Machine and iTunes
I'm not really sure how time machine works, but it should back-up everything...
Do you need to back up itunes and iphoto? Well, you certainly should back up everythin, with time machine or manually.

Re: Time Machine and iTunes
It backs up everything (aside from some excluded directories specified by the system and applications) unless you tell it to exclude something. The Music folder is by default not excluded.
To check if yours is excluded, open the Time Machine Prefs and click "Options".
You can also open the Time Machine volume in the Finder and navigate the directory structure looking for the files in question.
You can also just try opening Time Machine with iTunes up front. If it has backups you'll see them in the Time Machine interface.
