So last night at dinner, I asked her for her ring size. She said "I think it is a 7 or 7.5."
Me: "Are you sure that isn't your shoe size?"
Her: "smurf, I think you're right, I don't know what my ring size is actually."
Me: "..."

What I like to do is play with the girls rings and size them in my mind. I pick a finger the fit on partially and remember how far on the finger it was ... Then go to a store and find a ring the fits the same way. It's worked so far (4 to 5 rings)...
I like that method because there is no sneaking around with her rings
Now I am engaged so I hopefully wont have to find any more sizes that way.
