Free Red Alert; Red Alert 3 Q&A and Movie
Celebrating today's 13th anniversary of the release of the original Command & Conquer, RedAlert3.com now offers original Red Alert for free, as promised (story). They point the way to this page for the downloads of the 500 MB soviet disk and the 500 MB allied disk. They request that these files not be mirrored elsewhere. That downloads page also has a video with a bunch of FMV from Red Alert 3 showing off the game's star-studded cast. There's also a Red Alert 3 Q&A on GameSpot talking with producer Greg Kasavin about the Allied faction in the alternate history RTS sequel, pointing the way to a new Red Alert 3 trailer with gameplay and FMV sequences.

Red Alert 3 on Halloween [October 09, 2008, 09:53 am ET] - 9 Comments
Eurogamer spoke with Electronic Arts and learned the PC edition of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 is due on October 31. The Xbox 360 edition of the alternate-history real-time strategy game will trail that Halloween release by a couple of weeks on November 14, and they remind us that the state of a PS3 edition is up in the air at this point (story).
Wait; PC gaming is in disarray and piracy is killing it. What? Out, and first?
