Nielsen families suck.

I was a Nielsen rater twice. You're selected at random but it's pain in the butt keeping the records. They had finally allowed for DVR viewing the second time around.

SCC is on Monday, anyway - not a particularly good time slot for an action sci-fi series. I haven't yet seen it this season because I need to catch up online and I haven't taken the time to do that. I need to see if I can rig up a recording setup on my Mac.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (now contains some spoilers)

Ugh, you people need to quit watching that Dancing with the Has-Beens show!
It embarasses me as a fellow American.

And if they think I'm gonna watch that lame Chuck show when they cancel Terminator, they're stupid. I'll just be watching Monday Night Football, unless the Patsy's are playing then I'm just firing up the Xbox again.

Yeah, Terminator is full of illogical science and plot holes and way too much drama but unstoppable robots hunting people hasn't gotten old for me yet.

I hate to say it but I just could never get into T:TSC and I am a major Scii watcher. Bad writing imho and something an "action" show should ever be: Frequently dull.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (now contains some spoilers)

I'm not sure why I liked it.

Maybe it's because of the usual situation: the great dearth of anything REMOTELY good on TV.

It was way better first season.  This season sucks, but there isn't much better on.

"Lame Chuck show"? What the hell you talking about? I love Terminator too, but Chuck is one of the best new shows on TV this side of Pushing Daisies.

I'd miss all three of those of any of them died. Especially Summer Glau... She can terminate me any day. big_smile

It has too much teen drama, and lame teen drama, but the shows - there have been some dull ones but there have been some absolutely incredible shows as well.

I love well written and well produced SciFi, but Blade Runner this show is not. The dialog makes me want to drive a rusty spoon into my ears.

You'll have to suffer a while longer, then...

Fox gives full order to 'Sarah Connor'
Network extends season despite low ratings

“Terminator” is far from being terminated.

Fox has just given a full-season order to “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” Cast and crew were informed of the decision late Friday.

Back-nine order was far from certain; show has been struggling in its Monday night timeslot. But “Sarah Connor” has developed a fan base and some positive critical attention along the way.

“Sarah Connor” was preempted last week due to baseball playoff coverage, but in its last airing, on Oct. 6, averaged a 2.3 rating and 6 share among adults 18-49, which was up slightly from the prior week.

I guess Fox wants to back at least one winner this Fall.

Re: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (now contains some spoilers)

Glad they've given the show a full season but they really should start wrapping it up before then because I don't see another season in store.

I still look forward to this show every week, though parts of it are getting tiresome.
Like John's constant whining. Wish he'd just grow up and become the bad-smurf he's supposed to be.

The side story of that T-1000 lady is starting to become the more interesting plot as her motivations seem to be at odds with skynet.

They'll probably do the same thing Dark Angel did when it started to lose ratings - show more cleavage and ass.

[Remembers Season 2]

Ugh, I loved that show in the first season.

And Terminator is getting better every week. I like it. But hope it at least gets a real ending if it does go away.
