MA3 Breathes

Still working on the UT event, I think.

She'd be up sooner if I hadn't needed to format. We should be ready by next weekend.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED For UT in one nice DL. As for Halo it's the default install plus the newest patch.

The files that made the master zip can be found here.

Just EKO's (OSX) maps

LLevi,

1st and 3rd links present a login/upload screen for File Saver. 2nd link goes to a list of 31 files from OSX.

It was working the other day, looks like they changed how they do business.

Gah! I think you're right. Dangit! Lemme work on this. I may just turn on FTP on MA3 and host direct. More later.

More news:
First I lied but didn't know it. There is more than just the OSX maps, sorry. Forgot about Map Vote, Do The Right Thing and Zero Ping. NTM some other good maps like Bollwerk. Thought about putting up the entire UT folder but it runs 500mb+. However if you have bonus packs 1-4 and the stuff from OSX you'll have like 90% of it.

Jr and I played a few rounds last night. I'll make her public this week. Anyone up for testing this weekend?

Re: MA3 Breathes

Maybe. Would be for sure if not for all the recent complications, but still maybe.

(Btw, are we running the latest patch on Halo? I don't even remember how to block auto-updating.)

Halo was easy since we don't run any mods for it. Install, update and copy over the custom init server files.

Ooh... you remind me of Overpower. "Catch" on steroids.

Me still have many screenies from that. Me and tBC sure tore us up some scenery with the rocket-firing-chaingun 'Hog. My specialty was keeping Scorpions airborne, pinwheeling for many seconds at a time. big_smile

Re: MA3 Breathes

That was fun last night. Brought back some good memories... especially Mortal Metal.
Amazing how slow UT seemed compared to UT3. My memory of UT was how fast it seemed at the time. I guess memory plays tricks with time.

That and I kept wishing I had my grav board. smile

Didn't have a gameworthy machine ready. Flood cleanup still taking lion's share time.

Re: MA3 Breathes

Does anyone have the location for a download of the OS X patch for UT?  I erased my old G4 tower, installed OS 9, installed UT then copied everything to my MBP.

Somewhere along the way I misplaced the OS X patch, and the usual spots don't seem to have it anymore.

If that doesn't work PM me. I have it too and it's small enough to email.

Also jogs the memory to get FTP running on MA3 for this stuff.

Re: MA3 Breathes

Something happened last week and I rebooted Fri. or Sat. night.

I'm using NAT I don't think (or it shouldn't) return a ping. However it should list in the UT server browser. Sort by name and look for [MA].
