THe problem with ACORN is that they are 'community organizers' and as such are discredited, ipso facto, ad mausaleum.

Just as there is no such thing as a smoking gun for other less heinous items, like lying about WMD, or Libby's commutation or a few billion felony violations over a matter of years of FISA and the rest. Restroom in airports or being 'guily' but not really or Leiberman's liplock with the Unitary Or.

There are only discredit disownment denouncement and disqualification for various other matters on the other side. Which are always open to attack.
