Q10 clipping on the input phase
Long story short, inputting pre-limited audio (which resulted in regions that appeared to be balls-to-the-wall clippage throughout), but which isn't actually clipping (it's a brick of audio, but it never clips) results in the Q10 outputting horrible clipping.
I just found this out. And I'm having to rework a whole bunch of stuff because of it.
Just thought I'd pass this along in case it helps someone. Don't trust your eyes to confirm what your ears are hearing when using the Q10. Listen to the raw track first.
I know, I know. I should have listened to the tracks first. It's just become customary to throw a low-end rolloff on field audio, and, until now, the Q10 was my choice. Now I know. And now, so do you.
