Headless iMac?
So I have a G4 iMac (1.25GHz 15", USB 2.0/FW) and the display is broken. It won't turn on at all, but the computer runs and works properly. I was wondering if I could actually take off the monitor and still have it work properly, and just use the Mini-VGA adapter to connect it to a TV.
Ultimately, I want to be able to use it as a media server for the TV so that I can access anything from the living room, no matter what computer it is on. Is this an economical idea? Or would I perhaps simply be better off getting a mini (I know the resolutions available out of the G4 iMac aren't that great)?
