Xmas Schwag
Who got what, and how's it turning out?
I'll start. I got a rock.
It rolls downhill pretty good.

Re: Xmas Schwag
I'll add.
A now-rare (he's retired, with a child) holiday Stuntmutt.
IIRC Bungie recently released a Lorraine McLees Xmas card (find later- last Weekly Update?). They used to be semi-private.
(On a tangent, FWIW if you search you might still be able to find their 100MB PAS .mov from a few years ago).
For some reason, I so want to replay Max Payne and Deus Ex.

Re: Xmas Schwag
Well here we used to do hannukah, did christmas at my grandma's twice when i was little, then nothing due to me being in college and parents working hard, so we just went out of the country for the holidays.
This year Boxing Day has been chosen as the "day" so nothin until tonight
Plus my date of birth is 12/23, but nothing for that yet since I'm not in town and my parents save gifts for all at once heh.

Re: Xmas Schwag
Well i've started on one item atm. Got Mass Effect and i've been on playing it till 5am the last couple nights
. Like it so far but some of the quests just don't seem to flow properly. Maybe I just didn't talk to people in the right order in spots
. In a way I think KoToR flows a little better as an RPG. This is kinda like GoW meets KoToR. But it works.
Later I gotta install GoW and Bioshock on my PC, along with the Mines of Moria expansion from my sister. Just gotta find a time when i'm done with the others and have free time from WoW. Like to get my LOTRO toon maxed out with the free month they give you with Moria.
Was about it, most of the games were on sale items too. $10-$35. I know cause I was along and caught the deal. Really didn't see any good deals aside from those this year. Wanted Left 4 Dead but the lowest it came down was $44 for the 360. If it had gone to $39 then I would have said to go on it.
Only had 1 surprise item. My mom bought me a PSP back in November when she saw a good deal on it along with a Target giftcard (only time it was offered on the PSP this season). I had mentioned someday i'd try to get one and I guess she heard that. Kinda wish she had asked me about games for it cause all it came with was Rachet and Clank. Not too nuts about it but the system is very nice. It even works with my wireless network which my DS can't since its not WEP.
Debating what I want to use the giftcard on now. Its only $20. Would like to get Left 4 Dead but it would only eat up $20 of that. At full price i'd still have to pay $40. After Christmas sales haven't been super either. Maybe i'll know more after Sunday's ads.

Yup and it came with an as yet unusable headset. I hooked the camera itself to the Mini.
I also got some Bose Companion 2 speakers, some gift cards, clothes, pistachios.
There is one more gift which my old BiL ordered but it still being delivered and I've no idea what it is.
Other than that I picked up some novels, Radiata Stories (most of which I had overlooked on my shopping list), and a camera phone for myself this month.

Re: Xmas Schwag
In the Gaming category, I received Mirror's Edge and Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway, both for 360, neither of which I've gotten a chance to play yet.
For Non-Gaming, I received the Kata DC-445 camera bag (which is big enough to pack all of my current gear into with plenty of space for more) and a pair of gloves for cold-weather shooting (that must be exchanged because they are too small).
I've been thinking about picking up a few of these older titles now that they're really cheap... stuff like Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, and DiRT.
But I've also been eyeing a $600 wide-angle lens that would come in handy for this road trip to California that my brother is planning for March/April...

Re: Xmas Schwag
I bought my wife an xbox 360 ... so now there is 3 in the house. I got some tools, some itunes gift cards and a HPI Savage X (a nitro powered RC truck) Oh and my parents bought my wife and I a 46" Sony LCD tv, but I won't get much use as I normally use my 42" LCD. The new tv is pretty much for her xbox. I also bought her a Dooney and burke purse / wallet. Boring to me but she loves the hell out of it.

Re: Xmas Schwag
Go ahead and leave me
I think I prefer to stay inside
Maybe you’ll find someone else
To help you
Maybe Black Mesa
That was a joke, ha ha, fat chance
Anyway, this cake is great
It’s so delicious and moist
Look at me still talking
when there’s science to do
When I look out there
It makes me glad I’m not you
I’ve experiments to run
There is research to be done
On the people who are
still alive

I got a Wii.
Now if only I could have found a Wii Fit, as it was what my wife wanted for our anniversary (today). I cannot. Well, other than on craigslist, but I'm not paying a premium price AND driving an hour, thank you very much.

Interview with Tuncer Deniz: Mac Games Arcade
Macgamestore.com recently introduced the Mac gaming community to Mac Games Arcade, an application that allows users to peruse, purchase/download online, check out demos, and organize their game libraries. Seeing as how we have easy access to the man behind it all, Tuncer Deniz, we thought a short interview taking a deeper look at the platform was in order.
