Since the Clan member are most affect by this I felt I should run it past you people before a final decision is made. Forum names in black will be public while those in grey will be restricted access & thus invisible to those outside the clan (excluding moderators and administrators, OFC). Those forums with a red bullet are to be locked.

BTW my reasons for recommending merging the individual games forums is that 1) there were all of 71 topics with posts dating from 2008-2009 posts between them and 2) there will always be some new game which people think should be added or some old game that shouldn't be dropped.

I see the color code for grey, but for some reason they still look black. Maybe I'm just tired.

Anyhoo... I have little issue with the access and visibility aspect for most of the games, which have basically no activity save Halo (some life yet) & perhaps MoH, WoW clan activity having relocated to in-game AFAIK... but if they're limited access, why even bother merging them? They'll be unseen by 99% of regular members, including all in the Forum Feedback topic, and half the thread titles give little indication of their forum of origin. 'Invisibilating' them removes their seemingly objectionable nature to those few objecting, and any clanner looking for an old topic will have a long, difficult wade. Search is ineffective enough as it is.

No it doesn't. That said this is FAR from a done deal but discussions are active. I'm personally hoping that that showing an idea that's been tossed we moderators can get a gauge on the forums needs, a solution that works for everyone concerned. Especially if it is one that occurs sooner than later.

Really doesn't bother me with Ghost Recon. Ubisoft killed off that game franchise by shuffling it to console and adding ultra spam cheese. Haven't even booted up the original for some time now, course Mac side of things on multiplayer is rather poor. Gameranger is also very dead in the water.

It also makes a good pun based on that handle. Floodbait is funny and decriptive. Major Floodbait is even more so.

I wondered if you might mean that, but doubted you knew enough about MP ranks... makes more sense in light of the pun, otherwise you might've asked about making General.

Luckily for you, there is a MP gametype that involves Flood, sorta-kinda. One player starts inwisible, armed with a sword, and runs around killing as best he can- which is usually pretty well. Everyone he kills becomes a zumbie, and it all ends when everyone is zumbified. The only variable is game length- the undead never lose.

Without that, ranks and the pun wouldn't work very well together, as ranks only matter in MP Matchmaking. I don't play much MP and don't rank too high, but I'm a :whistle: demon in Campaign. Wish I'd had more time to take screens, but they can onlybe taken from Campaign films, and those can't be edited,hence get pretty long. The feature was cut to make ship date. I have done and know more about/in Campaign than maybe 99% of players, tho, incl. many ranked far higher. Ear, our former clan head, still calls me the Halo Guru.

I think everyone but mods lost viewing rights to the squad forums....took me a year to realize i was posting to myself.  I wouldn't mind them being locked up for good, but would they be deleted?

Halo, Warcraft, MOH, and UT are still active enough (in my mind) to keep separate.

Do we really need the clan forums anymore ?
