Help using Verizon DVR with my Mac Pro
I've got a Mac Pro, but I'm a novice at working with audio/video. I'd like to be able to capture shows saved on my Verizon DVR to my computer. Verizon itself does not allow exporting like TiVo does. WHen I plug in my firewire cable to the DVR, my Mac can see it, but can't access it.
Any help on this would be appreciated. I'm a school teacher & all I want to do is be able to capture movies, and make a few clips for my classroom needs.
Thanks!

I've used the process listed in the first link, but not the others.

Now that was nice information.
I'm not dead yet.

Re: Help using Verizon DVR with my Mac Pro
Thanks! It worked great.... It allows recording just like in "real time", i.e. If I play a program recorded on my DVR, I can record it on my Mac.
Thanks for your assistance.
