Help: Vista Printer Offline
I'm helping a friend with a windows machine. I know, I know, I should just shoot myself right now.
His Epson Workforce500 is listed as being "offline" In fact, two printers have been created, one a "Epson Workforce500" and the other is "Epson Workforce500 Copy 1"
Here's the rub:
The first one is offline, but seems to be the default printer.
The second one works, but of course you have to select it each time. Ugh.
Any help would be appreciated. BTW, did I mention that we are getting him going on openoffice.org in the midst of this process.

Right click the working printer, select "set as default" and delete the other one?
It's the same procedure on a mac.
