Re: Which MacOS do you spend most of your time in?
Moof!
I'm in no rush to make the move to X. Aside from the "ooh, ahh, up-to-date" factor, there is simply no compelling reason for the switch just yet.same here.. kind of... my G4 466 is in 9 and my iBook 500 is in X cause my iBook just sits there doing SETI 24/7

Are you running the command-line version of SETI X? If it's just sitting there doing packets, you might as well have it doing it as best as it can.
you bet i am!! CLI all the way!!!

Re: Which MacOS do you spend most of your time in?
Pretty much always in 10 now - only things I use os 9 for are Deus Ex (no X version afaik) and UT (my machine could run it in 10... but I can't get the os X version to work dangit!)
Someone above mentioned QUark - I still don't see why ppl feel compelled to reboot into 9 for it - My copy of Quark 3.32r runs perfectly well in classic.
Yes, I do miss my Kalaidascope themes ( not going to hose my jag system again until someone makes those damnable themes more idiot / os upgrade proof) and the speed with which I used the os.
ON my OCed g4 at school - os X uptimes aren't any better than in 9 ~ two days between freezes on average
Oh well, the faster feel of 50 more mhz (than 500) makes up for it.

Because I don't trust Classic for beans. Back in the day it was a crashaholic, and I haven't used it for anything serious.
When working on 130 pg documents worth $5,000+, I aint riskin' it.
Edit: Oh yeah. InDesign is sweet! BUT, anymore than 10 pages, and you got yourself a lame duck of an application. Slow isn't the word. Its awsome for smaller documents though. I hope Adobe really optimizes this baby soon. I'd like ot ditch Quark.
