I searched and didn't see a thread like this anywhere, so I felt I should start it up.

Why?  Because I just got mine and I can't wait to go plug it in. 

No, in all seriousness, here's the deal:  I always end up posting a truckload of questions regarding the performance of new machines, usually to help me make a purchase decision.  Since I just bought this thing, I figured I would offer the same help to anyone who's curious about the machine and how it runs (Pro Apps, games, etc.)

Here's my config:

24" iMac
With the following configuration:
PROCESSOR    065-7994    2.93GHZ INTEL CORE 2 DUO
MEMORY    065-8042    4GB 1066MHZ DDR3 SDRAM-2X2GB
GRAPHICS    065-8722    ATI RADEON HD 4850 512MB
HARD DRIVE    065-8048    1.0TB SERIAL ATA DRIVE

Let me know if you'd like some info.  I run an octo-core MacPro at work so I should be able to provide some good info/comparisons if you need it.  I should have Final Cut Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, and Zaxwerks ProAnimator running by tonight.
