MacAddict. CHANGE NAME BACK ! [not yelling, i promise :)]

Maybe I'm off my rocker. But ever since I bought the first issue in 1996 at an Indiana newsstand on summer vacation. Ever since it changed, I've been secretly hoping it would change back, as it IS so addicting. smile The time of the first issue was when Steve Jobs had just made a keynote and invited Bill Gates via satellite. He got booed. Heheh. A lot of us true mac fans still rejoice a little when we go back and watch it. Thanks to youtube, it's always readily available.  Though controversial, we mac fans got a lot out of that. We learned that huge evil corporations, when handled only by Steve Jobs, could produce good and useful software.

The thing that sold me on buying that MacAddict Magazine from all the others was that it seemed just inherently wild. A mac magazine that wasn't based on tradition something creative that mashed tradition up. I couldn't really ever imagine people in suits writing it. If I was to do it all over again, I don't know if MacLife would have stood out. It kinda has the similar feeling as MacFormat/MacWorld titles. Doesn't really stake it's claim / pound it's flagpole in the meat. You kno?

I got little fuzzy feeling writing that.

This has been discussed before. It's not going to happen.
