Heavily advertising deeper CO-OP gameplay. Better hurry up and get to playing the original Bat!

The graphics are nice on L4D 2. The incindiary rounds are so far out into fantasyland as to be laughable. Why not a flamethrower?
I would have preferred more maps though. We now see affirmative action in character development in games.
I'm not dead yet.

Ya, I think they did that due to the amount of racist comments in the current L4D VS. I've been in a lot of games where its constantly "N" word nonstop or "target Louis first" and sometimes some complain when they get to even play Louis.
Though I don't think its going to be just LA based when we finally see it. Probably will be like the first with multiple campaigns set in different areas. Hopefully with multiple sets of characters to choose from.

I'd wade through a state full of zombies to get out of Lousiana.
And one of the characters appears to be overweight. The 4 characters in the first L4D were all thin or muscled. apparently we now have a more representative group of survivors.

Caught an interview that suggests dev on L4D1 will continue and they seem to be talking of ways to integrate both games. So it'd be ok to buy L4D1 right now as its not really going away.

Yea, what NightCougar said. And L4D 2 isn't coming out til winter. So if you want to play sometime this year, L4D is a good buy. I think the price has decreased to around $20 -30.

I wish they'd finish HL2: Episode 3.
And L4D is still 40 bucks .
Once it goes down to 30 I'll definitely buy. I missed all the discount offerings of the past.

Amazon sells it for $27. (that's where I bought it... 4 days before they sold it on Steam for $24...) You can hook it up to your steam account with the CD key once it arrives, and it'll be available for download everywhere else as if you bought it on Steam.

Well, in L4D you can be a young college girl, a black IT manager, a biker, or a Vietnam Vet. Ole Bill and I have a lot in common, and we both have beards.
In L4D2, there is one girl, and 3 guys, one is white, the other two are black, and one of them is overweight.
